Hello, Bonjour.

My name is Christine;

I am the proud owner and creative force behind L'ÉVADÉ.

My roots lie in the charming town of Bathurst, NB, where I was born and raised. However, as a young adult, I made the leap to Ontario to embark on my professional journey. Eventually, circumstances led me to become a homemaker, dedicated to supporting my family's needs. I am blessed with two incredible sons and a loving, supportive husband who bring me immense joy and pride. I have recently moved back to NB.

 

I am everlastingly grateful for the opportunity to pursue my artistic passions, thanks to the unwavering support of my family. Baking and painting have become my outlets for self-expression and exploration.

 

The sea holds a special place in my heart, and it serves as a constant source of inspiration for me. Its tranquil and unhurried existence evokes a sense of nostalgia, reminding me of a simpler and more beautiful life filled with predictable continuity.

 

As a self-taught artist, I established L'ÉVADÉ as a means of "escaping" the challenges that life has presented to all of us. It grants me the precious moments of solitude to focus solely on my thoughts and emotions.

 

Perfectionist by nature, I allow myself to push boundaries in my artistic journey, particularly with wave creation and abstract art. I find comfort in the organized continuity that comes with a touch of obsessive precision, which explains my affinity for geometric art. This style also enables me to build intricate stories through the interplay of different mediums and the creation of vibrant colors.
